The Origin of "Legend"
The name of our yearbook, Legend, traces its roots back to 1986—the year The Legend of Zelda first debuted. Inspired by the epic adventure and timeless appeal of the game, the original creators of JMMA’s yearbook class chose the name Legend to capture the heroic spirit, creativity, and legacy of our students.
Since then, each edition of Legend has carried a subtle theme tied to the idea of legend—a knight, a quest, a story worth remembering. It’s our way of honoring the students who first brought this vision to life and paying tribute to the ongoing journey of every student at Jose MAST 6–12 Academy. Just like the legends of old, each yearbook tells a tale that will be remembered.
